Schengen Area
The Schengen Area comprises 27 European countries, 23 of which are EU member states. These include Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Greece, Spain, France, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, and Sweden. Additionally, the Schengen Area includes non-EU countries such as Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein.
EU Nationals
Every EU citizen has the right to travel freely within EU member states, including Malta. No special formalities are required for EU citizens to enter Malta, regardless of their purpose of travel.
